AI songwriting app is a melody to music makers
Songwriters and music makers are no alien to creative blocks, the phase when ideas meet dead end 360 degrees, and the remedy lies in inspiration.
A team of researchers in Japan have developed an AI app, called Amadeus Code, which partners with humans in generating musical ideas, by gleaning a vast database of melody, harmony and rhythm, writes Seeker.
The tool stimulates creativity with its novel output of tunes and chords, based on all hit songs from different eras and genres, reports Tech Explorist. Taishi Fukuyama, co-founder, and COO of Amadeus Code, says the tool is not a replacement for human creativity but a way to inspire musicians in the 21st century.
